A complete rebuild on the banks of the Woronora River, this east facing property is flooded in morning and afternoon sunlight. Chasing high energy efficiency in summer on the western facade but also wanting to maximise the view, the clients chose Abbey Aluminium due to their technical knowledge and ability to deliver unique, custom solutions. Using Vantage® Series 618 Sliding Doors with double glazing and Centor Screens allows the rear facade to showcase the outdoors and provide a thermally comfortable living environment on even the sunniest, hottest summer afternoons. Choosing the right windows is critical in such a situation. Vantage Windows and Doors allow you to use extra-large panels of double glazing without having to compromise on your design. To meet the interior styling brief, Vantage Double Hung windows were used throughout the bedrooms while an extra-large fixed panel is the feature of the master bedroom maximising the stunning river views.
